About Appfrica
APPFRICA is a group mentoring and facilitating East African entrepreneurs in software development. The goal of Appfrica is to help cultivate minds and encourage entrepreneurship, collaboration and free-market competition within the African continent. We do this by organizing conferences, networking events, and student activities with the internet, mobile and web technology as the focus.

Appfrica Labs
The Appfrica Labs is an incubation initiative to offer hands on experience in software development to students in Uganda. Various projects like the Appfrica website and Afridex are used for experimentation and practice.
